This is a baby fox cub.

Isn't it beautiful?
Foxes live in cities and towns all over the UK.

But in America, there are also Brilliant Creatures - not nearly as cute as these fox cubs - that have adapted to living in towns and cities with people.
Raccoons, alligators and snakes all choose to live near people - but can often cause problems.

In America they call them "pesky critters". Imagine an alligator turning up in your garden, or a snake in your bathroom, and you'll understand why.
This man is called Todd Hardwick.

He specialises in catching wild animals that have made their way into people's homes.
Stephen met up with Todd at work in Miami.
Todd explained that he'd had a call from a lady who'd called him to say she had a beast in her kitchen - making a huge mess and knocking things over!
Carefully, Todd and Stephen ventured inside and met the Brilliant Creature concerned...
...a possum!

It's the only marsupial in North America. They have a pouch - just like a kangaroo.

They also have a very infectious bite!
Todd asked Stephen to catch the possum.

Stephen wasn't convinced, but luckily Todd had a few tips to offer.
He explained that Stephen needed to be quick, and grab the possum by the tip of the tail, lift, and then put it straight into a waiting cage.
Success!
Todd and Stephen checked the rest of the kitchen for any other possums that might be around, before hitting the road to drive out of the city to release the one they'd captured.
The area the possum was being released into was, Todd explained, ideal.

It contains plenty of food, water and places to live.
So, Stephen carefully picked up the possum and released it.
But neither Todd nor Stephen could stick around. An urgent message came through on Todd's pager to head off and deal with an alligator in someone's garden...
