Cats. Aren't they lovely?

But every time they walk over your computer keyboard, the same thing happens. They type a load of old nonsense which ruins your work, and you have to spend ages correcting everything!
And it's not just cats can cause chaos. And if you've got younger brothers and sisters, you'll know that they always love to come and play on your computer keyboard, usually when you're in the middle of winning your favourite computer game.
Luckily, an American company have come up with a high tech solution to put a stop to this moggy mayhem. They've designed some software called Pawsense, which is able to detect when a cat is playing with your computer, a small child types on it, or you just lean on it by accident.
It works by recognising when a human is typing on the keyboard and how they react to making a mistake.

So if a cat walks on the keyboard, the software just turns itself off so nothing wrong gets typed.
In the studio, Fearne and Kate and a feline friend demonstrated.

Just activate the software...
...and when Fearne leans on the keyboard by mistake, the warning comes up!

It says "Cat Like Typing Detected".
And when a cat walks across the keyboard, the same thing happens. The keyboard is deactivated and the work or computer game aren't spoiled.
Brilliant stuff - no more cat-astrophes!
