If you've seen the film Spy Kids you'll know that one of the very cool gadgets the kids get to use is a talking toilet. Did you know that you could soon have a talking toilet in your own home? |
This gadget greets you when you use the toilet! It's been designed by an award-winning British inventor. It lets you record any message on it that you want. |
On the back is a microphone and a tiny "record" button. You just press the button and speak clearly to record the greeting of your choice. |
Every time someone comes near to the gadget, the message will play automatically. So, you could record a message reminding people to wash their hands, or to remember to put the seat down when they've finished! |
This infra red sensor picks up body heat when you walk past. When it senses the heat it replays the message. |
And because that sensor is so small, it can be used anywhere in your house. How about on a bedroom door, to warn off annoying younger brothers and sisters? |
And how about these? They're designed to teach little children how to use the loo. Every time the bowl gets wet, a message is played! |
So, next time your little brother or sister is getting the hang of things, they might well hear "Eureka"! |
