If you've seen the film Spy Kids you'll know that one of the very cool gadgets the kids get to use is a talking toilet.

Did you know that you could soon have a talking toilet in your own home?
This gadget greets you when you use the toilet!

It's been designed by an award-winning British inventor. It lets you record any message on it that you want.
On the back is a microphone and a tiny "record" button.

You just press the button and speak clearly to record the greeting of your choice.
Every time someone comes near to the gadget, the message will play automatically.

So, you could record a message reminding people to wash their hands, or to remember to put the seat down when they've finished!
This infra red sensor picks up body heat when you walk past.

When it senses the heat it replays the message.
And because that sensor is so small, it can be used anywhere in your house.

How about on a bedroom door, to warn off annoying younger brothers and sisters?
And how about these? They're designed to teach little children how to use the loo.

Every time the bowl gets wet, a message is played!
So, next time your little brother or sister is getting the hang of things, they might well hear "Eureka"!
