Ever had a bath overflow? It need never happen again! You need an air filled ball, a plastic carrier bag, a length of string and a bath with an old fashioned plug. |
Put the ball into the bag... |
...tie the handles once... |
lay the length of string over the top of the handles... |
...and tie the handles over the top. Then tie the string in a secure knot. |
Now thread the string through the metal loop in the top of the plug. |
Plug the plughole... |
and pull the string until the ball reaches the top of the bath. Finish by putting a knot in the plughole end of the string... |
...then fill the bath, and wait. |
The ball begins to float, the string tightens and eventually, the plug is pulled out. This'll stop the bath from overflowing. Or better still, keep an eye on the bath when you're filling it! |
