If you've got an old pair of combat trousers, why not recycle them to make a Camouflage Bag?

It's easy to make, is stylish, trendy and best of all, there's no sewing involved!
Start by turning the combat trousers inside out.

Cut away the legs just below the pockets and get rid of the legs.
Take a hole punch and punch holes along the bottom edge, about 1cm from the bottom and about 1cm apart.
Get some coloured cord or a long shoelace and thread up all of the holes.

Weave in and out until you've threaded up both legs.
When done it'll look like this.

Tie the loose ends off in a knot at either end, then turn the trousers the right way round.
The bottom is now nicely sealed up!
If you like, add some hook and loop fastener to the top for extra security.
For the strap, use a belt.

A military webbing belt is best - it's cheap, it'll look good, and it's really strong. But any belt will do!
Attaching the belt is really easy - undo one of the belt loops on the trousers, thread it through the belt and do it back up.
For a finishing touch, add some army badges.
Remember you can use any colour camouflage you like, and you can apply the idea to an old pair of jeans, too!

And you can keep things in the pockets, too!
