If you like footie, you'll find this one irresistible!

It's the Finger Tips chip master and it'll help you practice your shooting skills.
To make it, you'll need two identical fruit or vegetable boxes like these.

Why not ask your local greengrocer - the chances are that he or she will have some spare.
You'll also need a circular tray or plate which is bigger than the size of a football.

Place this on the top box and draw around it.
One you've drawn the circle, carefully cut it out.

(Thick cardboard can be very hard to cut, so ask an adult to help you with it.)

Try to cut as neatly as possible because you'll need to keep the circular disc!
Paint the disc with the design of a football.
Make the goal next.

Use the bottom of the two boxes for this. Paint the inside white and when dry, draw on the pattern of a net with black marker.

You could also add a "Goal!" sign like on the example you can see opposite.
Time to assemble everything now.

Stick the two boxes together. Spread PVA glue on the edges, stick them together and then leave the glue to dry.
When stuck solid, turn the stuck-together-boxes onto one of the narrow sides.

Draw around the edge onto a piece of cardboard, twice. Cut these rectangle shapes out and stick them onto the sides of the box - these will cover up the holes and gaps between the boxes.
It's time to decorate the chip master now. Use collage for this.

Cover the front of the goal with pieces of greenery cut from newspapers and magazines. Paste them on with a mixture of PVA glue and water in equal quantities.
When dry, add another coat of PVA and water over the top. This mixture dries with a clear finish and will help to seal the collage and prevent the individual pieces from peeling off.

For the sides, use heads and faces to create a crowd effect!
That completes the chip master.

All you need to know now is how to play the game!

Simply put the chip master so that it's up against a wall or hard surface.
Take the cardboard disc that has the football design, and throw it like a frisbee across the floor.

Put the football wherever the disc lands. You then have to chip the ball from that point into the goal!

Good luck!
