If you like ice cream (and who doesn't!) - why not make some for yourself?
With the Finger Tips knowhow you don't even need an ice cream maker!
First of all, you'll need a large bowl filled with ice cubes.
| |
You'll also need a glass which you fill with two tablespoons of double cream...
...four tablespoons of milk...
| |
..and two tablespoons of sweetened chocolate powder - the kind you use to make chocolatey drinks!
Give it all a good stir.
| |
Now bury the glass in the middle of the bowl filled with ice.
Pour some salt onto the ice cubes and listen out for the crackling sound!
Be careful not to spill any salt in the ice cream!
| |
Put a clean, damp tea towel over the bowl and leave it for a couple of hours.
The salt makes the ice melt, and it's the ice melting which freezes the mixture in the glass.
| |
After about an hour, give the mixture in the glass a stir. This will stop only the outsides from becoming frozen.
You can do this from time to time, but always recover the whole thing with the damp tea towel.
After about another hour, you should have some finished chocolate ice cream. Yum!
