Darchery is a Finger Tips exclusive that combines the accuracy of archery, the technique of blowpipe and the top score of darts.

It's good fun to play, and is also fun to make!
You'll need to find two straws of different widths, so that one fits comfortably into the other.
Cut the fatter straw in half.
Take a small ball of modelling clay and push one half of the fatter straw into it.
Load up the smaller straw, aim and fire!

Do this by blowing through the smaller straw so that the fatter straw with the modelling clay flies off.

For best results, press the thinner straw lightly against the modelling clay. This'll help to build up the pressure and give you a good launch!
To make the targets, you'll need a piece of card like this.
Fold it in half and cut along the crease.
Then stick the two halves of card back together with some sticky tape.

This creates a floppy hinge. The fold alone doesn't make it loose enough.
On the bottom piece of the card, draw a target. Or print off this one, cut it out, and stick on.
Once you've drawn or stuck the target on, cut a third of a way in and half the way up, like this.
Then go across diagonally, like this, so that you cut part off.
Stick this piece back on, with just one piece of tape along the straight cut. The diagonal cut doesn't need any.
Test the target by sticking it to a wall. Fold out like this so that the top rests on the top of the part with the diagonal cut.
When hit, the top part will fall down, hiding the target.
Next, paint a face onto a ping pong ball - or print off one of our designs - and stick in in place.
For the body, decorate a small piece of paper like this, leaving an edge that's unpainted.

Or, just print off one of our designs!
Dab some stick glue on that unpainted edge, and fold it into a tube shape like this.
Pop the head on, and that completes the scorer.
Next, place painted cereal boxes with the tops cut off under each of the targets, and give each a score.
The rules are quite simple.

Each contestant has three darts, and three targets to aim for.

You get twenty points for a fall on body, twenty points for a fall on the head, and for anything that lands in the box, you get an extra ten points.
So for a maximum score of 180, every part of every character must fall into the box.
