We guarantee if you bake these Dog Biscuits, you'll have a best friend for life!
To make them, you'll need two and a half cups of flour, three quarters of a cup of skimmed milk powder and half a cup of of Vegetable Oil.
Put them all in a bowl, and get mixing!
| |
Then add two tablespoons of brown sugar, three quarters of a cup of made-up vegetable stock, half a cup of grated carrot and an egg.
Give it another good mix!
Keep mixing - until it turns into dough.
| |
Then use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into an even thickness.
A good tip when rolling out dough is to sprinkle the board with flour. This will stop the dough from sticking.
Now cut out the shapes for the biscuits.
In the studio, Naomi used a bone shaped cutter - but you could use any shape you like.
The mixture should make about 25 biscuits.
| |
Put the biscuits onto a baking tray, lined with greaseproof paper.
Bake them in the oven on gas mark 5 (190c) for 25 minutes, until they're golden brown.
| |
To store the biscuits, why not make a doggie friendly bone box?
The main container is just a crisp tube and the ends are made from two polystyrene balls.
Cover it in paper maché, give it a lick of paint and fill it with the tasty dog biscuits.
