Roll polystyrene balls in PVA glue and dip them in glitter for these sparkly glitter balls!

Then hang them from the ceiling so that they look like planets!
You could dangle some alien balloons about the place - you can buy them from most party shops.
These slime splats are just made from PVA glue mixed with some paint.
For food that's out of this world, decorate some mini sponge cakes with sparkly silver and gold icing, so that they look like UFOs.
Give your burgers alien eyes, by using stuffed pickled onions!
For an ectoplasm drink, whisk up some jelly just before it sets and pour it over some lemonade!
But what should you wear to your party?

Well, you could paint yourself green like an alien. Add an old swimming cap and you'll look even wierder!
Or you could go Men In Black style with cool shades and a smart black suit.
Now the Disk Risk Game!

First make the alien's legs and feet. They all need to be the same size so that it doesn't trip up.

Click here for the arm template or here for the foot template, or alternatively, draw round three of your fingers on some card to get a foot shape, and make a half question-mark-shaped template for the legs. You'll need three of each.
For the body, blow up a balloon (but not all the way) and tie a knot in the top.

Draw a basic alien face on.
Place a paper cone over the balloon's knot at the top and secure with sticky tape.
Attach the legs and feet, using lots of tape.
Paste on strips of tissue paper, loo roll or kitchen roll using PVA glue mixed in equal parts with water.

Do about four layers but don't go over the eyes or mouth.
Add a bit of extra tissue paper scrunched up for the eye rims, lips and blobby toes.

Then when dry, carefully pop the balloon.
To make the tipping disk, cut out a circle of card about the same size as a tray.

Cut a little hole in the centre.
Line up an old CD over the hole and glue it down.
On the other side, divide the circle into different segments like a pizza.

Paint opposite sides the same colour.
Next, you're need to make the bit that the board balances on.

Cut off the very tip of the alien's head. Pop in a marker pen lid with the open end at the top. Then put the marble inside the lid.
You can paint your alien whichever way you like.

Don't forget to paint inside his mouth! You could even add polystyrene ball eyes.
Now all you need to do is make lots of alien counters.

They're just little circles of card. On one side, paint colours the same as those in the circle.

On the other, stick some shiny paper with an alien face drawn on.
Fix the board to the top of the alien, and store the counters in his mouth!
.
And finally, here's how to play the game...

Take it in turns to take a counter from the alien's mouth, and try to balance it on a corresponding colour section on the board. If the disk flips when you put your counter down - you lose!
