Ever wondered how you could get your hands on a Finger Tips t-shirt?

You won't find them in the shops (yet!) - but you could make one for yourself.

So - you'll need a plain, old t-shirt.
There are a couple of ways you can do this.

Either print off this Finger Tips logo
...onto transfer paper.

You can get it from art and craft shops.

The logo is reversed so that when it's ironed onto the t-shirt, it'll appear the correct way round.
Or, if you've not got a colour printer or can't get the transfer paper, you can use fabric paints instead.

They come in loads of different colours and textures.
If you want to have a go with the fabric paints, start by flattening your old t-shirt.

Put some newspaper or card inside, between the front and the back. This will stop the paint seeping through and spoiling the back.
Put some fabric paint into a tray or dish.

We picked a bright pink!
Carefully put your hand into the paint.

Keep it there for a moment to make sure that there's plenty of paint on there...
...then print it straight into the middle of the t-shirt.

Press down well for a few seconds, and then carefully remove your hand.
Not bad, eh?

Allow the paint to dry, and do make sure that you check the instructions on the fabric paint because some types need to be ironed on to make them permanent.
Once the paint has dried, why not add some detail?

Some fabric paint comes in squeezy bottles which are perfect for detailing.

Here we've added the words "Finger Tips" and some swirls to the tips of the fingers.
Don't forget to add a crease along the palm of the hand, too.

And remember - you can use any combination of colour you like - how about a green hand with a pink outline?
