These fluorescent fabric paints can be found in most craft and fabric shops.

They're great for making these spooky trick or treat t-shirts which glow in the dark.
There's a great technique for making these t-shirts.

Because each design is perfectly symmetrical, you only need to draw half the design!
Start off with a piece of paper.

Fold it in half.
Draw half a set of skinny ribs with a marker pen or felt tip.
If you don't want to draw your own, why not print out our template. Click here to get it.
Now cut out the design so that when you open the paper out, you're left with a stencil.
Lie the stencil on a plain t-shirt. A black one will work best.
Go around the outline of the ribs with a piece of chalk.

It should look like this when done.
Pop a piece of card of newspaper inside your t-shirt.

This will prevent the paint from soaking through to the back.
Start by filling in the design with white paint.

This acts as an undercoat.
When dry, go over the top with fluorescent paint. When you've finished, follow the instructions on the packaging of the paint.

Some types of the paint need to be ironed on to make sure they don't run when in the washing machine.
You can do other designs using the symmetrical technique. How about a spider?
Or a bat!
Have fun - these would make great wear for trick-or-treating!
