Meet Freaky Frank - a rather scary monster who has pride of place in the Finger Tips House Of Horror Party!
Why not decorate your room with lab equipment like this.
It's made from empty two litre drinks bottles with the tops cut off, each filled with a different coloured fizzy drink.
And you can drink straight from the bottles if you use long, bendy straws!
| |
Or how about making some gothic windows like this one?
They're backed with coloured acetate and painted with creepy, gnarled trees!
Cobwebs are a must - made very easily with string covered in PVA glue, completed with a dash of glitter!
| |
And how about some swooping bats, cut from black card, hung on string from the ceiling?
Dress in a black cape made from a bin liner or a piece of material.
Wear a long black wig, pale face make-up and long red nails!
| |
Or go completely monster mad by painting on scars, stitches and sticking on neck bolts!
And how about a brain teaser?
You can make this with a colander and spring-coiled pipe cleaners!
| |
For food, serve up monster mash with sausage fingers!
They're made with red pepper nails so that you can dip them into your mash!
And don't forget plenty of blood red tomato sauce, too.
Wash it all down with a blood orange cocktails - topped with an eyeball made from a lychee with a black grape in the middle.
Eww!
| |
Finish the food with a fruit jelly bowl complete with strawberry lace entrails!
The centrepiece of the House of Horror Party is the brilliant Pin The Limb game.
| |
To play, blindfold the guests and hand each of them a severed limb.
The idea is to assemble the monster in the correct order, and it's not easy!
| |
To make the game, just stick two sheets of lining paper together so that they're big enough and wide enough for a friend to lie on.
Make sure that their legs are wide apart, their arms away from their body, and their Finger Tips are spread out.
| |
When they're in position, just draw around the outline of their body!
This will give you the outline for the monster shape.
Draw around the lines so that the monster is nice and big. Draw a square head with neck bolts, big raised shoulders and raggedy cuffs. Add chunky turn-ups and big feet too.
| |
When done, carefully cut around the monster, cutting out each limb separately.
Use the paper limbs as templates to make cardboard versions.
Add extra details like torn clothes, finger nails and so on.
| |
When done, cut each cardboard limb out.
.
Then you can paint them.
Use any colour you like...
