Here's a great idea for making a t-shirt design that's similar to those "magic eye" pictures.
(You know, the ones where you have to look in a certain way before you can see what the design is.)
|
You'll need a computer that has a paint package (like JASC's Paint Shop Pro) that enables you to add a mosaic effect.
You'll also need a printer and some iron-on transfer paper.

Scan in a photograph of someone you like (you could use the pictures of Stephen and Fearne that we've included at the bottom).
Add the mosaic effect, making sure that the tiles aren't too big - otherwise the picture will distort too much.
|
Once you're happy, print off a test onto ordinary paper and look at it from a distance to judge whether you've got the right effect.
The face should be distinguishable from a distance but not close up.

Once you're happy, print the picture again, in colour, on transfer paper (you can get this from stationers and computer shops like PC World).
That's it! All you have to do then is ask an adult to iron the transfer onto a plain t-shirt for you.
