Revamp dull bars of soap...
...into deliciously tempting Lolly Stick Soap!
| |
These lolly stick handles are brilliant - so you can say goodbye to slippery soap sagas!
Start by getting your finger tips on 3 different coloured glycerine soaps.
| |
The mould for the soap is just a waxed paper cup.
Put a piece of tape across the top of the cup - this is to secure the lolly stick.
Tape a second piece of tape to the end of the lolly stick - leave a bit flapping.
| |
Put the lolly stick in the cup and fasten the two bits of tape together.
Now for the soap.
Chop one of the bars up, into chunks.
| |
Place the chunks of soap into a microwaveable bowl or jug.
Carefully melt the soap in a microwave for 30 seconds.
| |
Pour the melted soap into the cup. Be very careful doing this, because the soap gets hot!
Leave this first layer of soap to harden, for about an hour.
Then make the second layer in exactly the same way.
| |
After that's hardened you can make the third layer.
When that's set you've got deliciously fruity Lolly Stick Soap!
Make as many stripes as you like: these ones are great with two stripes.
| |
And feast your eyes on this eight-striper!
Nice!
So give it a go and see how creative you can be.
Just be careful where you leave the soaps - they look so tempting somebody could be fooled they're edible... eww!
