Every party needs some mouthwatering food so here are a few suggestions to get you going with underwater themed nosh.

These croissant crabs are just ordinary sliced croissants filled with ham and cheese with olives for eyes!

These starfish biscuits are made in the usual way, cut with a star-shaped cutter and decorated. Here's the recipe:

100g flour
50g caster sugar
pinch of salt
50g butter
1 egg

Mix the flour, sugar and pinch of salt in a bowl. Cut up the butter into small pieces and mix it into the dry mixture using your finger tips until it looks like crumble. Separate the egg, and mix in the yolk until the mixture forms a dough. Roll it out onto a floured board and using star shaped cutters cut out the star fish shaped biscuits. Bake them at 180 degrees or gas mark 4 for 15 minutes. Once they've cooled down you can decorate them with icing. Yum!

This jellyfish is just a chopped blue jelly with fish shaped sweets. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the packet, and stick on the sweets!

For a savoury idea, what about these shaped fish nuggets? They can be bought in most supermarkets. All you have to do is bung them in the oven!

And finally this cake is just an ordinary sponge cake decorated and filled with chocolate gold coins!
