These personalised Photo Mouse Mats are fantastic.

You can make one using your favourite photo and a bit of creative technology.
Get your finger tips on a mouse mat kit - you can buy them in art and craft shops.

If you can't get one, there are instructions below for making a mouse mat without the kit.
Choose the photograph you want to use and scan it into your computer.

You might need to make the picture bigger or smaller to fit the mouse mat.
You could also use a photo editing package to mess around with the picture that you're going to using.

Before you print it, flip the picture, so that it won't be the wrong round on the mouse mat.
Print the picture on the plastic film from the mouse mat kit. Make sure you feed the film into the printer with the smooth surface facing up.
Peel the protective covering from the mouse mat.
Put your picture smooth side down and line it up over the mouse mat.

Carefully stick it to the mouse mat - use a bit of pressure with your hand to make sure it sticks.
Works brilliantly!
This one was made without a mouse mat kit.
To make it, all you need is a piece of foam, some glue, a photograph, and some sticky plastic covering.
Scan the picture in and print it off on ordinary paper.

Cut around the picture and it will look something like this.
Stick the picture onto the foam...
...and carefully cover it with the plastic covering.

Do this by starting at one end and pulling the cover back until the mat is fully covered.
Then work from the inside out to get rid of any air bubbles.
Trim around the edges to finish the mouse mat off.
So put technology to creative use and make a Finger Tips Photo Mouse Mat.
