Here's an idea for a game you can make from foil dishes, the tube from some kitchen foil, a piece of garden cane and a pair of old tights!
It's called Ping Pong Pan. It's fun to make, fun to play and is much more fun to look at than ordinary table tennis!

It has two bats filled with fried breakfasts and a string of sizzling sausages for a net.
To make the game you'll need two foil dishes for each pan - four in total.

Wash them out before you start and cut a ruler width slot in the rim of two of the trays, like this.
Next, feed the garden cane through the tube.
Stick the cane to the foil tray with plenty of sticky tape.
Secure the cardboard tube in place by wrapping the flap of the foil dish rim around it.

Stick it in place - again with more sticky tape.
Brush loads of PVA glue all over the foil tray and garden cane.
Stick another foil tray over the top.

This neatly hides the garden cane!
Now you can make the fry up that goes in the pan.

Draw out eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes and fried bread or cut them from coloured card, like this.
Or, if you can find some, just cut them out from magazines.
Cover the tube which makes the handle of the pan with kitchen foil.
Now you can add the fry up.

Cover the entire base of the pan with PVA glue...
...and add in the different items.
Add another layer of PVA glue over the top.

This will dry clear leaving a shiny finish and will also strengthen the pan.
The sausage net is made from an old pair of tights, some cotton wool and a few elastic bands.
Start by cutting the legs off the tights.

You can throw the foot bit away.
Place one leg piece of the tights over your arm and place the other one over the top, like this.
Pull the tights down onto your hand and place an elastic band around the end.
Stuff some cotton wool inside, and put another elastic band on the tights.

This will create a sausage shape.
Repeat the process and keep going until you have a string of sausages that look like this.
The posts for the net are made from painted polystyrene takeaway cups.

Fill them with sand so that they're nice and sturdy.
Pop the lids on, and push a plastic fork through the lid of each cup.
Now you can attach your string of sausages.

You'll probably need three posts - one at either end and another one in the middle, to stop the sausages from sagging!
For balls, use ordinary ping pong balls painted to look like eggs...
...or you could buy some polystyrene eggs from a craft shop!
That completes the game - so have fun!
