Here's how to recycle jeans pockets...
...into chic Finger Tips Pocket Purses and Pocket Wallets!
| |
Start with a pair of old jeans with two back pockets.
Use an unpicker to carefully remove both the pockets. Then remove the bits of loose thread around the edges.
Use fabric glue to stick the two pockets together.
Make sure you don't glue along the top edge otherwise you won't be able to get your money in and out!
| |
Stick a strip of hook and loop fastener inside the top edge of the purse - the hook bit on one side and the loop bit on the other!
Then give it a personal touch by decorating it.
You could use fabric paint...
| |
...buttons...
...badges...
| |
...or sequins.
And you don't have to use jeans, try making one from a pair of combat trousers.
| |
And if you can get hold of some bigger pockets, you could attach a strap to make it into a cute little shoulder bag.
Or you could make a fold over Pocket wallet like this one.
Fold one half of a pocket inside and stick it down.
| |
Use the bottom part of the other pocket as the flap.
So stash your cash in a Finger Tips Pocket Purse or Wallet!
