This rare beast has been greatly prized for its noble expression, decorative value and handy horns!
The Finger Tips Shoe Horn will look great on your wall - and is handy for hanging up jewellery, school ties and shoes.
And it's made from a smelly old trainer!
For the horns, you'll need two quarters of a circle of card, and a cardboard tube.
Curl one of the bits of card into a cone like this.

Stick it in place with some tape. Do the same with the other bit of card.
Then flatten out the cone, and make some cuts from one side to the other.

Don't cut all the way!
Then bend it into a horn shape.
Open the cones out and stick one of them at each end of the cardboard tube.

Use lots of tape around the cones, to help them keep their shape.
Tape the horns over the opening of the trainer.
Add some newspaper balls for eyes and two newspaper rings for nostrils.

Then add some cardboard ears!
Next, you need to cover the whole thing to make it strong. You could use paper maché.

Alternatively you could use plaster wrap like Naomi did in the studio. You can buy it from craft shops.
If you're using plaster wrap - just cut it into strips, two layers at a time, and wet it.

Wrap the strips around the shoe horn. This gives the same effect as paper maché but it doesn't take as long to dry.
When it has dried, you can paint the shoe horn.
Tack a chain into the heel so you can hang it up.
Why not have a go at making other designs? Here's a reindeer.

Hang on your gloves and they make perfect antlers!
Or, try making a giraffe with stumpy horns and a tongue.
If you don't want to make horns, you could make ears and make this cheeky zebra.
Give it a go - make a Finger Tips Shoe Horn.
