Here's a fun idea for a pizza that looks like a squashed hedgehog! It's really easy to make, and lots of fun too. Place an ordinary pizza base onto a baking tray and cut all the sides off, like this. Don't throw the offcuts away - you'll need them soon to make the hedgehog's legs! Now you can add whichever pizza toppings you like. In the studio, Stephen used a tomato base and then added mushrooms and cheese. But it's really up to you - use your favourites! Make legs by cutting down the offcuts of pizza base, and place them on the baking tray too. For eyeballs, use two slices of boiled egg... ...and then slice an olive to make the pupils for the eyes. Add another olive for a nose... ...then bake! The Splat Pizza goes into the oven on gas mark 7 (240 degrees celsius) for 10 minutes. Once it has cooked, transfer it to a plate and put the legs in position. Then enjoy - mmm, delicious!
