Sprouts.
Don't you just hate them?
Here's a great idea for sprouts that doesn't involve eating them - a sprout t-shirt!
| |
If you want to have a go, get hold of some sprouts and cut them into halves.
You'll also need a plain t-shirt.
Put a piece of card or newspaper inside to stop the paint from seeping through to the back.
| |
Mark out the word "sprout" with some chalk, like this.
Then take half a sprout, and dip it into some fabric paint.
Print over the chalked lines until you're happy with the design.
| |
Follow the instructions on the fabric paint. Some types require ironing-on, to prevent the paint from running when the t-shirt goes into the washing machine!
Why not add a glittery outline or sequins?
Or print in orange on a khaki t-shirt, and outline in gold?
Cool, eh?
