Start with an old pair of jeans - or any old pair of trousers made from a tough material.
Lay them out flat in front of you.
Place your plain old file, opened out, on top of them.
| |
Make sure the top hem of the jeans shows over the top.
Then cut the jeans, just below the bottom of the file.
Cut up the front of the trouser legs a few centimetres in from the side seams.
| |
Also cut along the inside of the waistband.
Place the file back on top of the jeans.
Tuck the top of the file underneath the hem on the waistband.
| |
Stick down all the edges with fabric glue.
You might want to trim off the bulky bits as you go along.
Once it's dried, neaten the inside of your file by edging it with some ribbon.
| |
Now you're ready to add fashion accessories.
The pockets are a great place for storing notepads. And the belt loops are perfect for attaching your keyring to!
So go on, give your file a fashion makeover with the Little Finger Tips Style File.
