This fun Finger Tip is great fun but it's also VERY messy, so you MUST get permission before you try it!

This is a great way of decorating a room and amazing your friends at the same time - walking on the ceiling!
Although Stephen's a magician, we promise you that there's no trickery involved here - just a couple of broom handles with some sponge feet patterns stuck onto the ends!
To make the sponge feet shapes, you need a pair of real feet!

Step into a tray of poster paint, and onto a large piece of paper.

Then step off the paper, and go and clean your feet while you leave them to dry!
When the prints have dried, draw around the edges with a marker pen and then cut the different pieces out.

When laid on a table they should look something like this.
Now you need to stick those pieces onto a thin washing-up sponge. (If you've got big feet, you might need two!)

Draw around the pieces onto the sponge, then cut out the corresponding pieces.

Do this for both feet.
Lie the foam pieces in place on a larger piece of cardboard.

Once you're happy with the positioning, stick each piece of sponge to the cardboard with plenty of PVA glue.
Let the glue dry. Then it's time to stick the cardboard pieces to the broom handles.

To do this, take a couple of kitchen roll tubes and cut down the middle, right the way down.

Wrap the tubes around the broom handles. Tighten a little, and secure with tape.
Once that's done, take the tubes off the broom handles, and dab PVA glue around the rims.

Stick them to the backs of the cardboard pieces.

Leave to dry.
Once dry, get the broom handles and put the tubes over the top. Stick them in place with tape so that they're nice and secure.
And now you're ready to start painting!

You'll need two fairly large trays of (not too runny) paint. Make sure you put newspaper or old sheets down to protect the floor from any splashes...
Carefully Dip the broom handles into the paint, and put the pattern of your choice on the wall or ceiling that you've chosen.
And once you've got the technique, why not try other types of footprint?

How about the soles of a boot, or a dinosaur, or a cat - it's up to you!
