This Little Finger Tip is a perfect way to put a boring old pushlight to good use.
| |
You can use an ordinary pushlight to create one of these amazing Wrap Around Shades!
You can have any colour and design you like, which means you can make one for yourself or as a present.
If you haven't got a pushlight, you can buy them really cheaply from DIY or hardware stores.

The lampshade is made from a coloured piece of acetate and an ordinary piece of paper.
Draw a picture on one side of an ordinary piece of paper, in black felt tip pen.
When done, flip the paper over and draw another design, this time using pencil.
| |
Next, punch four holes in each end of the piece of acetate.
Curve the acetate round, line up the holes and pop paper fasteners through each hole, opening them out to keep the curved acetate in place.
| |
It should now look something like this!
Pop the lampshade on top of the push light...
| |
...fold the paper design round and drop it inside the lampshade...
...turn the light on and there you have a fantastic Wrap Around Shade, and you can see both the front and back designs at once!
