This is a great fun Finger Tip which will enable you to recycle something useless into something that's useful - and very funky looking!
Start off by finding an old washing-up bowl or deep tray. If you're not sure whether you should use something you've found at home, remember to check!

Mix some water and poster paint in the bowl or tray. The more poster paint you use, the darker the resulting colours will be.
Next, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the tray.

With an old brush or a spoon, give it a good stir until the oil is scattered in droplets among the paint.
Now you need to prepare three different paint mixtures, in separate containers.

Each should consist of acrylic paint and poster paint in equal amounts, with a blob of vegetable oil. Stir each together.
Carefully flick each different colour into the tray. (It's a good idea to put plenty of newspaper down to protect the table or surface that you are working on!)

Stir gently!
Now, place your scrap paper on top of the paint tray.

Leave it there for a couple of seconds and then remove it quickly.

Then lie it flat, and blot off the excess with kitchen roll.
When the paper has dried, you can use it to cover anything you like.

With this unique wrapping paper, all sorts of cartons and other kinds of waste packaging can easily be made into great looking gift and storage boxes!
